A project born from the inspiration of Maestro pianist Dado Moroni and the esteem he nourished towards excellent female music! A mixture of genres, cultures and artistic tastes, which finds its climax in a quintet tending to be feminine and guided by the ductility and versatility of the Moroni’s pianism, 1st Italian Jazz pianist, recognized worldwide.
The band features the Cuban double bassist Yanara Reyes McDonald, musician with a strong rhythmic taste, who boasts, despite her young age, excellent past collaborations, which have seen her protagonist at some prestigious european and international festivals. On guitar the Neapolitan and very talented Eleonora Strino, superb composer and arranger, who boasts, in addition to numerous titles as teacher on Italian territory, also interesting and prestigious foreign experiences. The quintet is completed with the master drummer and percussionist Enzo Zirilli, an internationally recognized musician with a vast curriculum that supports him. He has played and collaborated alongside a plethora of Jazz, Soul, World Music, Funk luminaries such as Jim Mullen, Gary Bartz, James Moody, Enrico Pieranunzi, Bob Mintzer, Charlie Mariano, Steve Grossmann, Eddie Gomez, James Moody, Tom Harrell, just to name a few.

ADRIENNE WEST

Adrienne West, a native of Brooklyn, New York, at the age of 9 began studying classical vocal and piano. During her teenage years, he felt the need to combine some of the jazz variations he had loved listening on records with his classic background. As a member of the Alvin Queen Sextet, Adrienne has traveled throughout Africa performing between concerts and conducting masterclass seminars in vocals. In her artistic career she has collaborated with some of the most important musicians on the world jazz scene, including: Johnny Griffin, Buddy Tate, Scott Hamilton, Al Cohn, Clark Terry, Harry “Sweets” Edison, Billy Cobham to name just a few. She also played and recorded with the WDR Radio Big Band Koln, the Hessischer Rundfunk Big Band Frankfurt, the NDR Radio Big Band Hamburg, among others. After five years of presence o Broadway and in the European and world tour companies of the Tony prize “Ain’t Misbehavin” he completed a two-year European theater tour entitled “George Gershwin: The Musical Gala” as a soloist in the
foreground. She also played the role of Bessie Smith in “Mahalia” (a musical theatrical tribute to Mahalia Jackson).
